Thirdare we connected on Instagram or LinkedIn? You’ll want to stay connected as I launch the Baltimore Economic Leadership League. BELL will be a membership organization that provides business networking opportunities, hosts elegant social events and offers affordable loans to small, woman-owned, minority-owned and rural businesses in Maryland. You’re going to love it! Membership opens in January 2022!

Fourth, City Council President Nick Mosby’s office is hosting a toy drive and we are helping to collect toys! This holiday season, Council President Mosby will host his 1st Annual Toy Drive and Holiday Celebration where he will partner with The Movement Team, Inc. to provide non-violent toys for Baltimore City children ages 2-12.

Toy collection will be on Wednesday, December 8th, outside City Hall, from 5-7pm. Join us for hot chocolate, holiday carols and much more! Parking is free in the Baltimore Street Garage, located on the corner of Baltimore and Holliday Streets. If you cannot stay, then the toy drop-off lane will be on the Lexington Street side of City Hall.

Community partners can either purchase toys or make a monetary donation via The Movement Team’s PayPal. If you have any questions about Council President Mosby’s 1st Annual Toy Drive and Holiday Celebration, please email Cori.Ramos@baltimorecity.gov.

Fifth, the Eager Park Festival is this Tuesday evening at 800 Wolfe Street! Please join East Baltimore Development Inc., Kiss Tomorrow Hello, Residence Inn by Marriott and other partners at the 2021 Eager Park Fall Fest on Tuesday, November 23rd from 4pm-7pm! This event is to benefit the community so please spread the word. There will be music, refreshments, access to resources and Thanksgiving giveaways!

TenthBaltimore City has established an online application process for the American Rescue Plan Act funding to support projects for City agencies and nonprofit organizations. Projects must have a minimum grant request of $250,000 to be considered.
