Contracts

Nymbus/ U.S. Department of Defense

As a subcontractor to Nymbus Federal, WHC supported the U.S. Department of Defense initiative called DoD Velociter. The Velociter program provided training and development to technology companies awarded SBIR grants from the U.S. Department of Defense. WHC provided management and technology consulting to program participants over a multi-year contract.

FSC FIRST Capital Matters Program

As a prime contractor, WHC developed the curriculum and facilitates the FSC First Capital Matters Program. WHC developed the 8-week, online program, teaches the core concepts and organizes Subject Matter Experts to contribute as panelists. The purpose is to teach business owners how to scale and increase revenue so they can create jobs in Prince George’s County, Maryland. This is a multi-year contract.

U.S. Small Business Administration/ National Disability Institute

WHC developed the curriculum and facilitates the National Disability Institute Entrepreneur Growth Accelerator. EGA is a free, 8 week, online program, that teaches core business and financial concepts and brings Subject Matter Experts to contribute as panelists. The purpose is to teach business owners how to scale and increase revenue so they can create jobs in in their communities. This is for business owners who identify as having a disability. This a national program. 

Baltimore Economic Leadership League BELL Revival Baltimore (BRB) Entrepreneurship Program 

WHC developed the curriculum and facilitates the BELL Revival Baltimore (BRB) Entrepreneurship Program. BRB is a free, 6-week, online program, that teaches core business and financial concepts and brings Subject Matter Experts to contribute as panelists. The purpose is to teach business owners how to scale and increase revenue so they can create jobs in Maryland. This is for small and minority businesses located in Maryland. 

Charles County Economic Development Business Growth Advantage Program (BGAP) 

WHC developed the curriculum and facilitates the Charles County Economic Development Business Growth Advantage Program. BGAP is a free, 8 week, online program, that teaches core business and financial concepts and brings Subject Matter Experts to contribute as panelists. The purpose is to teach business owners how to scale and increase revenue so they can create jobs in Charles County, Maryland. This is for small and minority businesses located in Charles County. Graduates receive a $10k grant. 

Anne Arundel County Economic Development Inclusive Ventures Program (IVP)

As a prime contractor, WHC developed the curriculum and facilitates the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Inclusive Ventures Program. WHC developed the 8-week, online program, teaches the core concepts and organizes Subject Matter Experts to contribute as panelists. The purpose is to teach business owners how to scale and increase revenue so they can create jobs in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This is a multi-year contract.

Talbot County Economic Development TWBA

As a prime contractor, WHC developed the curriculum and facilitates the Talbot County Economic Development Talbot Works Business Academy. WHC developed the 8-week, online program, teaches the core concepts and organizes Subject Matter Experts to contribute as panelists. The purpose is to teach business owners how to scale and increase revenue so they can create jobs in Talbot County, Maryland. This is a multi-year contract.

Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School

As a prime contractor, WHC supports the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School through the Office of Experiential Learning’s Community Consulting Lab. WHC promoted the program to the business community and recruited businesses to participate. WHC also provided management and technology consulting to the MBA and MS students who advised the participating businesses. This is a multi-year contract.

Morgan State University Earl Graves School of Business 

As a prime contractor, WHC supports Morgan State University Earl Graves School of Business.  WHC promotes entrepreneurship programs to the business community and recruits businesses to participate. WHC also provides management and technology consulting to Administrators as needed. This is a multi-year contract.

Morgan State University Baltimore Means Business Program

As a prime contractor, WHC developed the curriculum for the Baltimore Means Business Entrepreneur Growth Program, funded by the Baltimore Small Business Support Fund. WHC also recruited for this program and taught the 7 online sessions for the first two cohorts. 

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses

As a prime contractor, WHC supports the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program with digital marketing and promotions to established business owners in Maryland. WHC also represents Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses at public events, Senate hearings, Open Houses and special presentations to potential partners and applicants. This is a multi-year contract.

SoundExchange

As a prime contractor, WHC supported SoundExchange, the sole administrator of all digital performance royalties for performances over the internet. WHC provided management and technology consulting during the development of a new online registration process and the delivery of increased royalty distribution initiatives. This was a multi-year contract.

Harbor Bank

As a prime contractor, WHC supported the Harbor Bank of Maryland’s development, testing and implementation of a resource website for its Community Development Center. WHC provided management consulting during the development phase and them created the website to the specifications of the client. WHC continues to support the website.

Broward Alliance of Neighborhood Development

As a prime contractor, WHC supported the Broward Alliance of Neighborhood Development’s development, testing and implementation of a resource website. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding fundraising, volunteer management and Board selection. This was a multi-year contract. 

University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business

As a prime contractor, WHC provided management and technology consulting to participants in the aspiring student entrepreneurs program. WHC also advised participants in the annual Business Pitch Competition.

Baltimore County Government 

As a prime contractor, WHC developed and presented performance training to managers and top personnel through the Office of Human Resources.

National Association of African Americans in Human Resources

As a prime contractor, WHC supported the NAAAHR’s development, testing and implementation of the Baltimore website. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding fundraising, volunteer management and Board selection.

Archaeology in Community

As a prime contractor, WHC supported Archaeology in Community’s development, testing and implementation of their new website. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding fundraising, volunteer management and Board selection.

Black Professional Men

As a prime contractor, WHC supported Black Professional Men’s development, testing and implementation of their new registration website. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding fundraising, volunteer management and Board selection.

Universal Logistics 

As a prime contractor, WHC supported Universal Logistics’ development, testing and implementation of their new website. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding business plan development and government certifications and contracting. 

North American Van Lines

As a prime contractor, WHC supported North American Van Lines in its development, testing and implementation of their new website, CRM and digital marketing process. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding scheduling of work and customer management. 

Wellness Today Spa

As a prime contractor, WHC supported Wellness Today Spa’s development, testing and implementation of their new website and digital marketing strategy. WHC also provided strategic advice regarding building capacity, safety measures for customers, training and development of staff. 

Startup Africa

As a prime contractor, WHC supported Startup Africa’s Women’s Business Conference in Kilifi, Kenya and their training program for the Kenyan Government’s 2030 initiative. WHC provided training to participants and provided management and technology consulting. 

Amstar Mortgage 

As a prime contractor, WHC provided Amstar Mortgage with management and technology consulting and developed the telemarketing call center.

WHC partners with the U.S. Department of Treasury to develop strategy for the HBCU GSA schedule as outlined in the Presidential Executive Order and promote Treasury events to local business owners.
