Weekly Message from the Chair, February 17, 2020

Message #8- 2/17/20

Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce Members,

Summary: In this message, I highlight upcoming events, offers from Members, our new sponsorship opportunities, fun activities for employees, job placement services, lending opportunities and info you can use to make better business decisions. Please share this weekly message with 10 people who will benefit!

First, thank you for your continued support on social media, attendance at events and referral of new Members! We added over 20 new Members since January 1st. If we keep up this growth, we could add 200 new members and thousands of people to our network this year! Thank you so much for believing in the possibilities of our Chamber! We are building our own internal market and if we keep supporting each other, all will benefit!

Second, our 4th Wednesday Breakfast Networking event is next week at Miss Shirley’s in Roland Park! We will enjoy a delicious breakfast, address your business growth challenges and have speakers with valuable info for the business community. If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so ASAP on our website, www.baltimorecitychamber.org.

Third, within the next few weeks I will have our Sponsorship package completed and approved with options starting as low as $250. Why is this important? Well, as we increase our membership, you will have more people to sell your products and services. Sponsorship allows you to efficiently and affordably have the attention of the thousands of business owners, professionals, government agencies, banks and elected officials who attend our events and see our messaging each month. Options will include:

  • Venue Sponsorship (Host an event at your place and bring us to you)
  • Food Sponsorship (Showcase your cuisine to attendees and guests)
  • Expo Tables (Interact directly with the attendees at our events)
  • Speaking and Presentation Opportunities (Talk to our Members about your organization via presentations, webinars and panels)
  • Printing Sponsorship (Be recognized for helping us cover printing costs for Membership Cards, Annual Reports, Breakfast With The Mayor Booklets and Signage)
  • Media Sponsorship (Gain access to what’s happening in the Chamber and help us tell our story via social media and your publication)
  • Program Sponsorship (Show your support and gain access to attendees at our upcoming Women’s Leadership, Young Professionals, Health and Wellness and Small Business initiatives)
  • Chairman’s Club (Experience big perks and incredible access to Baltimore’s Leaders)
  • Customized Options (Let’s work together to create an event, media campaign or training program with your name on it that will benefit Baltimore and bring attention to your brand)

There are obviously a limited number of events and only so many Sponsor spots for 2020. So, if you want to talk about affordable sponsorship options to put you in front of your target market, schedule a call with me or email our incredible Sponsorship Committee Chair, Steve Braun at sbraun@searchconsultants.org.

Fourth, each week, I plan to use this message to connect you with opportunities, invitations and information that you will hopefully find valuable. So, here you go:
